About Us at Eyes on Main in Carmel

Dr. Prljevic is a graduate of Indiana University and Indiana University School of Optometry. She is dual licensed in both Ohio and Indiana, and a member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association. When she is not working, Dr. Prljevic enjoys being outdoors, working out, and spending time with family.

Kim embarked on her optical career in 1996 while working part time all through high school and college as a technician. Her multifaceted skill set includes working in a full service optical lab where she learned lens manufacturing. She has spent the last 15 years as a luxury eyewear curator. She is an expert when it comes to style, fit and color selection along with lens design. In 2018 Eyes On Main was a vision; a professional goal. That vision became reality in 2019 when she met her business partner. At the center of her original vision were core values including community and becoming a neighborhood fixture. This naturally leads to fostering relationships with her clients, not just quick exchanges. The personal touch is what Kim offers and what clients can expect.

In her spare time you can find Kim volunteering. She has traveled to Honduras for an optical mission with VOSH, crisis operator for Families First and The National Suicide Prevention Hotline, and NODA volunteer for Eskenazi. She also spent 2 years volunteering with Trinity Free Eye Clinic. Her other hobbies include  traveling to Hawaii and dabbling in the arts.

Tony is a Hoosier native. In 1998 he journeyed into optical and acquired his skills working in a full service optical lab as a technician. He learned most of his hands-on skills and attention to   detail from his grandfather Jack.  Tony has spent the last 20 years working as an electrician and as part time help to his wife of 25 years in the optical industry. In 2019 Tony decided to end his life long career in electrical and become Eyes On Main’s lab technician. He shares the same passion for the optical industry as his wife Kim. When you visit Eyes On Main Tony will make sure you always feel welcomed and help find a solution that works for you.

Some of Tony’s hobbies include scuba diving, photography, art and racing.
