Launched in 2007, the BARTON PERREIRA collection of eyewear immediately made a tremendous impact on the fashion industry. Created by visionaries Bill Barton and Patty Perreira, the BARTON PERREIRA brand of luxury eyewear are handmade and use the finest materials in Japan. The BARTON PERREIRA frame is not mass-produced, like most eyewear companies that have machines pumping out hundreds of thousands of eyewear into the market. BARTON PERREIRA’s eyewear is handmade by skilled artisans, produced in limited quantities making each piece as exclusive and unique as the wearer.
Designed in-house and built from the ground up, each BARTON PERREIRA frame is a work of art. Unique to BARTON PERREIRA are custom designed lens and plastic zyl colors offered in a pantone of colors that compliment all skin tones beautifully.
The most recognizable faces from the entertainment, fashion and music industry have embraced the BARTON PERREIRA collection. Angelina Jolie, Rachel Zoe, Heidi Klum, Jessica Biel, Orlando Bloom and Giovanni Ribisi are only a few of the faces that have worn our frames.
For over thirty years, Anne et Valentin has designed eyewear frames in the spirit of constant renewal of form and color. The story of Anne et Valentine is a true love story. A practical optician husband (Valentine) wedded to an artsy design wife (Anne). From their humble beginnings in Toulouse France in a small optical shop, they started a French optical revolution. Avoiding the trappings of designing boring and pedestrian frames for the masses, Anne et Valentin family team centered their approach on creating glasses and sunglasses for INDUVIDUALS. Each collection tells a unique story and each story is based on real people.
More than 20 years ago Wim Somers and Patrick Hoet, both opticians with their own store, had had enough of the mainstream glasses that they were selling. So they decided to launch an eyewear collection themselves under the name Theo, an anagram of Hoet. They started with the motto: "Do not just see better – also look better". For Theo creators spectacles are not just an optical aid; they are a fully-fledged fashion accessory. The aim is to decorate the whole face and not just to emphasize the eyes.
From their first collection to the most recent, Theo designs have been groundbreaking. The original collection addressed the avant-garde, but as the years went on the Theo brand took on many forms. Collaborating with designers such as Christoph Broich, Tim Van Steenbergen, and James Van Vossel had kept Theo designs fresh and funky.

Often referred to as high-definition, Eyes on Main is proud to offer digitally customized lenses. These lenses provide wearers with a more accurate prescription, sharper vision, a wider field of view with less peripheral blur, and a finished product that is completely customized for the customer. Think about the first time you saw a high-definition television. The colors seemed brighter, contrast became more clearer, and you saw everything how it was supposed to look. Customized lenses are like having HD for your eyes as they offer an increased sharpness in all light conditions, even at night and enable quick adaptation with enhanced colors which maximizes the optics.
Made using free-form technology, these lenses go through a completely different creation process compared to traditional progressives. Free-form technology uses the most sophisticated, state-of the-art equipment which is computer aided to offer only the highest level of precision.
Prescriptions are accurate up to one-hundredth a diopter* (0.01D), offering the highest level of precision.
Traditional progressives are accurate up to one-eighth a diopter (0.125 D), leaving a slight amount of room for error.
These lenses have a unique customized design made for your specific prescription and frame choice to offer the clearest vision.
Lens design is “fixed.” This means that the progressive you choose already has the design in it and is just waiting for the prescription to be ground into the back of the lens. The problem with this is that the frame chosen cannot be taken into account.
These offer the smoothest transition for better viewing zones, eliminating the “sweet spot,” and offering a natural posture when trying to read.
Tend to have a “sweet spot.” This is the spot where the you get the clearest vision. Most wearers have experienced this, especially when reading – resulting in a tendency to slightly lift your head when trying to read causing unnatural posture.
The widest field of view with the least amount of peripheral distortion and virtually eliminates the “swim effect.”
Peripheral blur and a “swim effect” is another common issue. This is when you shake your head fast and it feels like the room is moving. With this design you can order different types that will offer a wider field of view, but the swim effect can still be there.
